Japanese Chilled (Hiyayako) Tofu
- 1 Box of silken tofu
- ½ tsp fresh grated ginger
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp green onions
- 2 tbsp dried bonito flakes for topping (skip for vegan/vegetarian)
- Cut the silken tofu into 6 pieces and place in a big bowl with ice cubes and water about 5-10 minutes.
- Drain the tofu, put on a serving dish.
- Top the tofu with the soy sauce, green onion, and ginger, bonito flakes.
